Anders-Lane Artisan Wines enjoy established relationships with growers and vintners throughout California. The decision was made to showcase a few select small lot, old vine Zinfandels. Z-52 was created as an umbrella brand to offer fine, rare Zins to fans of the varietal.
My design objective was to highlight the “Z.” Zorro and his monogram came to mind. I wanted the “Z” to be visible from 25 yards away. I presented the simple (but striking) design to my clients and they liked it.
We again returned to a silk-screen execution. Universal Specialties was able to capture the subtle gradient screen treatments going on in the design and delivered as usual. The objective was to be bold but not excessively so.
Zin releases from places like Agnes’ Vineyard in Lodi, Clocksprings Vineyard in Amador County, Truchard Vineyard in Napa Valley and Brsada Vineyard in Sonoma Valley were among the offerings.
